In 2004, and quite by chance after months of searching, their dream was finally realized. While viewing prospective properties at their realtor’s office, they spied a photo of a majestic but crumbling 18th-century barn. Riding high
It’s a horse lover’s baccalaureate dream. Students enrolled in Centenary College’s Equine Studies program often bypass stuffy classroom and lecture environments for instruction and hands-on experience in airy, hay-filled barns and state-of-the-art riding rings. That’s because Centenary is one of a select group of colleges across the country offering associate and bachelor of science degrees in equine studies and its horse-friendly, rider-focused educational environment is unique.
